Beyond Profit is a small team working together to support charities with their finance and governance needs.

The team brings a mix of experience from across the charity sector and other sectors, combined with specialist charity finance and governance expertise within Beyond Profit. This allows us to deliver high-quality, practical support while maintaining consistency and oversight.

We work closely with trustees and senior managers, building trusted relationships based on clarity, professionalism and continuity. Our approach is hands-on and thoughtful — supporting charities with the detail as well as the bigger picture. Our clients know who they are working with and can be confident that their finances and governance are being handled responsibly.

Emma Willder

Managing Director

Emma Willder is the Managing Director of Beyond Profit and works closely with all of the charities we support.

Emma has extensive experience in the charity sector and specialises in helping trustees and senior managers feel confident in their finances and governance. Her work spans acting as a fully outsourced finance function for charities, providing governance, finance and administrative support to grant-giving trusts, and delivering consultancy, training and finance system setup.

Emma is known for her calm, practical and values-led approach. She translates complex financial and governance issues into clear, plain-English insight, helping charities make informed decisions while meeting their responsibilities.

In addition to her client work, Emma regularly speaks at conferences, sector events, panels and webinars on charity finance, governance and financial sustainability.

Sandra Douglas

Bookkeeping Associate

Sandra is a Chartered Management Accountant and CIMA Member in Practice who works directly with several of our VAT-registered clients. She provides hands-on bookkeeping support, including raising sales invoices, processing purchase invoices, and completing VAT returns.

Sandra’s attention to detail and deep understanding of charity finance ensures our clients stay on top of their day-to-day finances and HMRC obligations with confidence.

Teresa Fennell

Associate

Teresa is a Chartered Management Accountant and CIMA Member in Practice who provides ongoing management accounting support to our clients. She helps charity leaders understand their financial position, monitor performance, and make well-informed decisions.

Teresa’s clear, thoughtful approach brings clarity to the numbers, empowering organisations to stay financially resilient and forward-focused.
