Consultancy

Our consultancy work provides focused, practical support on specific financial challenges or projects.

This is hands-on, senior-level input, not ad hoc help by the hour.

Typical consultancy support includes:

  • Reviewing existing finance systems and processes

  • Advising on financial management, controls and reporting
  • Providing mentoring-style support to senior managers or trustees

Consultancy is delivered on a fixed-fee, day-rate basis, with a clearly agreed scope of work.

Training

Our finance training helps trustees and senior managers feel confident, informed and better equipped to make decisions.

Training is practical, charity-specific and grounded in real experience, not generic finance theory.

Training typically covers:

  • Understanding charity finances and management accounts
  • Roles and responsibilities of trustees and senior managers
  • Financial controls, risk and oversight
  • Full Cost Recovery and understanding the true cost of your activities
  • Using financial information to support better decision-making

Training is delivered on a fixed-price basis, typically as a half-day or full-day session, tailored to your charity’s needs.

QuickBooks Online Setup & Conversion

We support charities moving onto QuickBooks Online by designing and implementing finance systems that are fit for purpose.

This service is for charities not already using QuickBooks Online who want a clean, robust setup from the outset.

Our support can include:

  • Reviewing your existing finance arrangements
  • Designing a chart of accounts suitable for charity reporting
  • Setting up QuickBooks Online to reflect your activities and funds
  • Migrating data from previous systems where appropriate
  • Ensuring reports meet the needs of trustees and senior managers

QuickBooks Online setup and conversion work is priced based on the complexity and scope of the charity, rather than a one-size-fits-all package.
