Who We Work With

Clarity about fit matters

At Beyond Profit, we believe that the right support starts with the right fit.

We work best with charities who value strong finances, good governance and professional, values-led support. Being clear about who we work with, and who we don’t, helps everyone make informed decisions from the outset.

Supporting charities

We work with charities who:

  • Are established and operating with a clear purpose
  • Value strong financial management and good governance
  • Want hands-on, professional support rather than ad hoc help
  • Are open to advice and willing to engage constructively
  • Respect agreed boundaries, timescales and ways of working
  • See finance and governance as enablers, not just compliance

Depending on the service, this may include:

We are not the right fit for charities who:

  • Are looking for the cheapest option
  • Want to be charged by the hour or on an ad hoc basis
  • Expect instant responses or out-of-hours support
  • Are very small or early-stage and not yet ready to invest in their finance or governance
  • Are seeking free or heavily discounted training
  • Want ongoing monthly support through one-off consultancy or training routes

A respectful, honest approach

Being clear about fit isn’t about excluding organisations. It’s about working responsibly and sustainably.

We are always happy to have an initial conversation and will be honest about whether Beyond Profit is the right partner, even if that means suggesting an alternative approach.

Let’s start with clarity

If your charity values professionalism, clarity and a supportive partnership, we’d be happy to explore whether we’re a good fit.
