About Emma
I’m a qualified accountant and worked as a charity finance director for many years before setting up Beyond Profit. I’ve been sitting on and working with charity boards for many years and I am a qualified charity governance professional.
I have over 20 years’ experience in a variety of sectors; from education to catering, wholesale to charities. I’m a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), a CIMA Member in Practice, and hold a Certificate in Charity Law and Governance. I am also a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and an affiliate of the Association of Charity Independent Examiners.
In my personal time, I am a Trustee of Wood Street Mission. I also volunteer as the Treasurer of Bolton Cancer Voices and Howfen FC, a local grassroots football club.

What do you do in your spare time?
What spare time!!! I enjoy spending time with my boys, which generally involves ferrying them to some sport or other. I also like to read, cook and do yoga.
