About Dan
Whilst studying Leisure Management at Salford University I worked as a data entry clerk at British Gas.
I stayed at British Gas after graduating, working my way up the ladder with various roles including, Debt Team Manager, Time and Motion Analyst, Process Issues Analyst and ending up as Senior Process Metrics Manager responsible for KPI reporting.
After Emma and I were expecting our 3rd child we decided it would be best if one of us stayed at home, so I took the plunge to be a ‘stay at home’ dad.
I returned to work after 7 years and another child. Staying in the Utilities industry with Utiligroup (now ESG) who are responsible for many of the new entrants within the energy market and providing them with software and ongoing operational support. I had similar role to the one I had at British Gas, responsible for contractual reporting for their many clients which varied from Target Service Levels to Operational Reporting.
6 years on and Emma and I decided it would be better for our work balance if I joined Beyond Profit. I’m looking forward to working in a completely different sector and bringing some of the experience and skills I’ve picked up over the years to the team.
