Rhiannon Grant
Finance Manager
About Rhiannon
I am an AAT qualified and ACCA affiliate accountant and have worked in accounts roles for over 15 years. I initially discounted accountancy as a career choice as I didn’t want to follow in my dad’s footsteps but found myself enjoying the accounts side of the admin role I was in, so decided to study AAT then ACCA alongside working a full time job.
I have worked for SME’s doing everything from entering invoices to bank reconciliations to monthly management accounts… even ordering stationery (which I cannot be trusted with as I always over-order!). I also spent a number of years working in fast paced logistics/distribution for major retail companies preparing weekly internal accounts and variance analysis reports.
I have experience with charity accounts from playing in various local brass bands where I have been involved in obtaining charity status, gift aid returns, year-end accounts and reports, grant applications and independent examinations.
In my role as one of the Accountants at Beyond Profit, I am looking forward to using all the knowledge and experience I have gained in previous roles to help and advise the charities we work with.

There’s no football allowed in our house! Only rugby union, as my partner is a big Sale Sharks supporter.
What do you do in your spare time?
I play in Leyland Band, a championship section brass band, which takes up a lot of my spare time. I also enjoy reading and am a regular member of a book club. I love open water swimming and am about to start training to swim Coniston end-to-end. I also try and get to yoga and pilates classes too, when I find the time around the kids!

Steak and chips.
If you could have a superpower what would it be?
Time travel so I would never be late!
