Kate Kilbride

Senior Finance Manager

About Kate

I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003 working as an auditor for a national firm based in Manchester. This gave me a wide range of exposure to both the business world and VCSE sector. After qualifying, I moved to be the Finance Manager for a family business, where I really enjoyed being part of a small team.

On starting a family, I decided to take a career break, but as someone who loves to be active, I soon became involved with a number of children’s activities within my local community and eventually took over the running of a local Brownie group. As my children got older, I started to use my accountancy skills to support my local church as well as a couple of start up CIC’s.

On resuming my career, I decided that the charitable sector was for me and so I became the Financial Controller for a national charity. I have loved this role but now feel ready for a fresh challenge and am excited to work with Emma and the team at Beyond Profit to offer accountancy services and financial advice to a variety of charities.
